Congratulations to Teams Tanner Horgan and Krysta Burns, Best Western  U21 NOCA Provincial winning teams.

In the U21 women’s final, it was a close game right to the last rock.  Team Burns (Burns, Megan Smith, Sara Guy, Laura Masters, Coaches Rodney Guy and Jeff Masters) from the Idylwylde G&CC won the final game 7-5 over Team Brunton (Kira Brunton, Kate Sherry,  Mikaela Cheslock, Emma Johnson, Coach Chris Johnson). Brunton represents the Sudbury CC.

The U2 Men’s final between Team Horgan (Horgan, Jacob Horgan, Nicholas Bissonette, Maxime Blais, Coach Gerry Horgan) was back and forth with Team Warkentin (Zach Warkentin, Brendan Acorn, Liam Brunton, Scott Foy, Isaiah Warkentin, Coaches Steve Acorn and Tim Warkentin) until the 5th and 6th ends when Horgan scored 2 and stole 1, eventually winning the game  6-3.  Horgan represents the Copper Cliff CC, while Warkentin represents the Community First Curling Centre.

Both teams will now advance to the 2017 Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Victoria BC, January 21-29.
