Hit Draw Tap Program Details
NOCA is pleased to announce the return of the Hit Draw Tap program for the 2025-26 Curling Season! The program is based on the drive, chip and putt program from golf. As implied by the slogan, participants get to test their skills in Curling by attempting three key curling shots – a hit, a draw, and a tap.
Participants will compete at their local club and will have 5 attempts per skill/shot. Each attempt is scored and the top five participants with the highest overall scores throughout Northern Ontario will advance to the 2026 Hit Draw Tap East or West Showdown:
Provincial Shootout East: February 8th – McIntyre Curling Club – Timmins
- Top 5 participants (based on total score) + ties in each division will advance to:
Provincial Shootout West: February 21st – Fort William Curling Club – Thunder Bay
- The next top 5 participants (based on total score) + ties in each division will advance to:
- First priority will be given to top 5 participants who could not attend Provincial Shootout East
Curling Centre registration is $60 + HST per participating club and includes a Hit Draw Tap hosting kit.
