NOCA announces the resignation of President Stephen Chenier, effective immediately. Steve has accepted the position of Executive Director of the Ontario Curling Association, officially assuming this role June 23, 2014. Congratulations to all of the Bantam and Wheelchair teams who competed at the Ontario Winter Games last weekend in Orillia. The top three teams from the Bantam Boys and Girls Provincials competed against three teams from the Ontario Curling Association, and three NOCA Wheelchair teams competed against three OCA Wheelchair teams. This weekend saw the 2014 Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s Provincial Champions declared. At the Kenora Curling Club, 5 teams competed with the Vicky Barrett rink (Sudbury CC) winning the title. The Barrett rink went through the round robin undefeated, and then clinched the title with a victory over the Peggy Taylor rink (Kenora CC).…
