The Robbie Gordon rink (Gordon, Ron Henderson, Dion Dumontelle, Doug Hong) and Vicky Barrett rink (Barrett, Margaret McLaughlin, Valerie MacInnes, Brenda Harrow) are both competing at the Canadian Senior Curling Championships in Yellowknife this week. Both teams are from the Sudbury Curling Club.
The Gordon rink competed in the qualifying round against Yukon, Newfoundland/Labrador, and Nunavut for the final two spots in the round robin. Gordon lost to Yukon in the first game, and then prevailed over Nunavut and Newfoundland/Labrador to secure the last spot in the round robin national event.
