The Scottish Women’s Tour will visit in Northern Ontario Clubs November 18th-20th. The tour alternates every five years with 24 Canadian Women visiting Scotland in 2010 and 24 Scottish Women visiting Canada this year. The tour visits different parts of Canada, and Quebec, Northern Ontario and Ontario have been chosen as the areas to visit this year.
“It has been 30 years since this area of our great country has had the opportunity to host the Scottish Women’s Curling Tour. In 2005, Atlantic Canada played host to this tour. The goal of each tour stop is to highlight the local area and create awareness of this international women’s curling exchange between Canada and Scotland,” states Tour Coordinator Fran Todd.
Come out to meet these women and support your local club.
